Berwyn S. Detweiler of Uniontown has been in the auto business since 1931.  Berwyn Detweiler Sr. started things with various locations including Stewart Ave., Fayette Street and finally at their current location at 520 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

There has been many many changes in the automobile business in the last 70 plus years.  One thing that has not changed is the way Berwyn and Sons do business.  No high pressure sales tactics, no bait and switch: you buy what you want, not what the sales person wants to sell you.  Just the same way Berwyn Sr. did business for many years.

The Detweiler's have dedicated employees.  All employees have been here over 10 years, that is saying something, with the turnover in the auto business, but business in general.

Good, clean, late model used cars have long been Berwyn S. Detweiler's claim to fame.  They would never buy a car from an Auction, Private owner or any other source knowing there were major mechanical or body problems.  Reputation is being in business and the Detweilers now 3rd generation are doing everything in their power to uphold their good name.
